Pre-K/Kindergarten English Tutor – Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes Tutor Doctor is a local tutoring company that has proudly served our community for over 11 years. We provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring that helps students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and discover the joy in learning. We are currently seeking a Pre-K/Kindergarten English Tutor to support our youngest learners in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area. The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, and experienced in working with little ones, preferably with a background in teaching kindergarten or pre-k. Responsibilities: * Provide individualized instruction in early literacy, phonics, reading readiness, and beginner writing skills. * Create fun, interactive lessons that capture and hold the attention of young children. * Adapt teaching methods to meet each child’s unique learning style and developmental stage. * Communicate progress and updates to parents and Tutor Doctor staff. * Foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in early learners. Qualifications: * Previous experience teaching or tutoring young children, preferably Pre-K or Kindergarten. * Strong knowledge of early childhood education and foundational literacy skills. * Ability to make learning playful, engaging, and rewarding. * Reliable transportation to student homes in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area. * Flexible availability during after-school hours and/or weekends.
