Job Description

TRC Talent Solutions is hiring for a night shift Production Operator to join our clients production team in Decatur, IN. We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. This role involves packaging, palletizing, and assisting in the operation of production equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM on a 2/2/3 rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with machine setup, order changes, and operation support.
• Package, label, and palletize finished products accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct regular quality inspections to maintain product standards.
• Load sheet rolls and guide materials through machines as needed.
• Operate grinders and recycling systems in compliance with procedures.
• Maintain clear, accurate production logs and documentation.
• Follow all safety and housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe workplace.
• Adhere to food safety and quality guidelines (SQF/BRC/HACCP).

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Ability to read instructions, follow verbal directions, and complete documentation.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-player attitude.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
