As a Security Officer - Government Armed Driver in Polkton, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents. In this driving and armed role, you will remain highly visible to promote a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location and perimeter, remaining observant for any unusual activity or potential threats.
• Carry and maintain control of assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with training and company policies.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and actions taken according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed while upholding company standards.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior through visible presence and interaction with individuals on premises.
• Maintain knowledge of the location's security-related procedures, including emergency evacuation and response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
