As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Spruce Pine, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a critical role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a government location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter and/or identify unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence as an armed security professional.
• Write detailed incident and activity reports to document occurrences and observations during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as directed by site-specific protocols.
• Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, maintaining readiness to respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Comply with all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements related to armed security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
