What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, assisting individuals as needed within the government facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with access control, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Report and document any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal and/or site management.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including coordinating with Allied Universal and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must have an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
