At Activision Blizzard Media, were reimagining how brands connect with players worldwide. Were seeking a Senior Designer to create innovative, immersive ad formats that integrate seamlessly into gaming environments. This role combines creative, interaction, and product design, collaborating with product managers, engineers, game studios, and strategists to develop engaging ad experiences that are player-first and impactful.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end design of new immersive ad formats, from concept to production, ensuring they enhance gameplay and user experience.
• Translating product goals into cohesive design systems native to gameplay, delivering value for players and advertisers.
• Facilitating creative ideation through inclusive brainstorms.
• Storytelling and visual communication of design vision.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine concepts that balance player experience and advertiser needs.
• Designing intuitive interaction models and visual systems aligned with game mechanics.
• Conducting player research and playtests to validate and improve designs.
• Maintaining comprehensive design documentation and guidelines.
• Advocating for design excellence and player empathy throughout development.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends to inspire innovation.

Qualifications:

• 13+ years in design roles across creative, interaction, and product design, preferably in gaming or immersive media.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative, interactive, or game-based design work.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Principle, Framer, or Unity.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and game mechanics.
• Experience in agile environments and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Passion for gaming and player empathy.
• Bonus: Experience designing ad formats or monetization features in games.
