Role Overview

Were seeking a Senior Software Engineer to spearhead our Core Platform function. In this highleverage role, youll design and scale the foundational systems that power our AIdriven lending platform. Youll build scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure that handles sensitive financial data, integrates AI models for loan processing, and supports highavailability deployments across cloud environments. You thrive on crossfunctional collaboration with engineering, product, and compliance teams to deliver velocity, reliability, and compliance in a competitive fintech landscape.

What Youll Do

• Architect and enhance platform features including authentication, auditability, and enterprise integrations across the banking ecosystem
• Build and maintain highperformance, developerfriendly infrastructure using containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm), and cloudnative services across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Improve reliability, scalability, and compliance for platform services like permissions management, admin reporting, and customisation
• Develop and optimise infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and efficient resource utilisation
• Collaborate with AI engineers to benchmark & integrate models into the core platform
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to best practices for building systems that handle highvolume, missioncritical financial workflow
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies in cloudnative, fintech, and AI infrastructure to drive innovation in our platform

What Youll Bring

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of software development experience, particularly in scalable backend and infrastructure systems (e.g., Rust, Node.js, Python, or Go), and modern deployment technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their managed services for compute, storage, and networking
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Experience with building observability tooling including metrics collection, distributed tracing, logging systems, and monitoring dashboards
• Experience with enterprise software features like permissions (RBAC), analytics, audit logs, notifications, selfserve onboarding, and provisioning
• Proven ability to mentor and guide technical teams
