Checkout our brands: levoit.com | cosori.com | etekcity.com The Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join our team and drive user-centered innovation across our app, connected hardware, and wearable products. This role demands a strategic thinker with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, capable of guiding the product development process from ideation through delivery. What you will do at VeSync: Lead Research Initiatives: Oversee complex, fast-paced research initiatives, design and execute learning plans, and apply suitable methodologies tailored to each product lifecycle phase. Analyze and Interpret Data: Provide clear, actionable recommendations and translate research findings into strategic insights to inform product development. Present Research Findings: Develop and present compelling reports on user trends, pain points, and opportunities to stakeholders. Collaborate with Teams: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and marketing, ensuring clear communication and cultural sensitivity. Advocate for Users: Maintain a user-centric perspective, balancing user needs with business goals. Enhance Research Practices: Continuously refine methodologies, promote best practices, and ensure ethical standards and high-quality results. Manage Research Repository: Oversee the organization and access to research insights, ensuring privacy compliance and effective data management. Foster a Culture of Research Excellence: Contribute to the development of user research within the team and across the company, mentoring junior researchers. What you bring to the role: Experience: At least 4 years in UX research or related fields with a strong background in qualitative and quantitative research methods. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree highly preferred. Fields include Product Design, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Statistics, etc. Expertise: Proven ability to lead end-to-end research initiatives, craft and execute research plans, and turn findings into strategic insights. Technical Skills: Proficiency with research tools such as UserTesting.com, Quantilope, and similar; advanced data analysis skills with Excel and familiarity with statistical programs like R, JMP, etc. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. Project Management: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Analytical Skills: High analytical capability, proactive and inquisitive mindset, with the ability to enhance product design based on user feedback. Industry Knowledge: Experience with hardware, connected products, or wearables; background in health, wellness, or consumer goods is a plus. Personal Attributes: Curious, responsible, positive attitude, strong storytelling skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Location: This is an on-site, office-based role in Tustin, CA.
