Job Description

We are looking for a social media wizard to join our team as a Social Media Specialist! This opportunity is open to any content creators who have at least 1 year of experience running a professional social media account. Please note that this is a 1099 contract position and fully remote.

What You'll Do:

• Content Creation: Develop engaging and visually appealing posts for social media platforms and manage our social media content calendar.
• Graphic Design: Use tools like Canva to design creative graphics, banners, and promotional materials.
• Social Media Posting: Work ahead of schedule to assure that content is strategized, developed, created, approved, and ready to post ahead of time.
• Research/Strategy: Stay on top of trends, identify relevant topics, and brainstorm ideas to enhance our online presence.
• Caption Writing: Craft compelling, on-brand captions free from spelling & grammatical errors that captivate and engage our audience.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, etc - OR equivalent hands-on experience.
• High proficiency with social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Graphic design skills with experience in Canva or similar tools.
• Strong writing skills with an ability to adapt to different brand voices.
• A creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and trend-spotting.
• A self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.

About Pacific Counseling and Trauma Center

We are a counseling center that specializes in trauma therapy and offer Brainspotting and EMDR Trauma Modalities. Our mission at PCTC is to heal you quickly and permanently from the deep suffering caused by childhood and adult trauma. We accomplish this by offering the most cutting-edge trauma treatment modalities and counseling to adults, adolescents and children. We KNOW that everyone can heal from the worst traumatic experiences imaginable as long as the therapist is an expert at reaching the deeper regions of the brain where traumas are held. Once the traumas are accessed and released, client after client report that they have found or re-found their self-love, joy, passion and purpose for their lives.
