Seeking a qualified professional to provide specialized educational support in a dynamic K-12 summer school environment. This position is located in Rochester, NH, and focuses on delivering tailored instruction to meet the diverse needs of students requiring special education services during the month of July.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Current state certification or licensure in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a classroom setting, particularly during summer programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement them successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying special education needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives to ensure meaningful progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress and social development.
