Sr Cisco ACI Engineer

it would be a huge plus to find someone local to Tennessee who could visit their data center periodically in Jackson, TN.

6+ Months with an extension probable

Experience:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Network Engineering
  
• 4+ years of experience specifically configuring and maintaining Cisco ACI (application centric infrastructure) and running patches
  
• 4+ years of experience with Cisco router and switch configuration and network authentication protocols like TACACS and RADIUS.
  
• Experience using ACI MSO (Cisco ACI Multi-Site Orchestrator)
  

Expert knowledge of:

• Cisco ACI configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  
• Network security principles and best practices.
  
• Network protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, VLANs, etc.).
  

• Cisco ACI Multi-site Orchestrator 
  

Strong understanding of:

• Device profiles (e.g., workstation, printer, VoIP phone) and how they are used for network access control and policy enforcement.
  
• Data Center Design and access port optimization
  
• Wired networking technologies and protocols.
  
• Network infrastructure components like routers, switches, and firewalls.
  
• Strong and effective technical documentation
  
• Security concepts like authentication, authorization, and auditing (AAA).
  

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
  
• Wireless Certifications
  
• Switching/Routing Certifications
