Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our commercial construction projects, specifically in the high-end restaurant sector. The Superintendent will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily operations on construction sites and ensure safety regulations are followed according to OSHA standards.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to specification and within project timelines.
- Develop, manage, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to ensure project alignment and address concerns.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on project status, including manpower, materials, and equipment used.
- Manage project budgets and costs, ensuring that expenses align with financial goals and taking corrective action when necessary.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on high-end restaurant projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and legal regulations.
- Strong skills in subcontractor management and coordination.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in scheduling software and project management tools.
- OSHA certification and a strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
