MBS is hiring a Technical Writer in Mason, OH. This position is full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creation of a documentation methodology and framework and maintains proper methodology for purposes of consistency and efficiency.
· This role prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, system design, software operation, product description documents, installation documentation and user documentation.
· This position translates business and technical specifications into documentation to be used by Sales, Marketing, the technical development team and user documentation.
· This position is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
· Must have the ability to communicate easily.
· BA or BS degree with a minimum of two years work experience writing technical documentation.
· Experience with the Microsoft Word and Power Point products as well as ability to use graphic editing software.
· Experience with a document archival system
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
· PC skills required (including MS Office).
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
· Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
· Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
· Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
· Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
