Job Title: Technical Writer I – Early Career Opportunity

Location: San Jose, CA | 100% Onsite | Full-Time Contract (6 months)

6-Month Assignment with the potential to extend

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and managers to gather and document technical information.
  • Create and update policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms using structured templates.
  • Design clear documentation outlines and integrate visuals like diagrams and screenshots.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
  • Manage small documentation projects, track progress, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve content quality.

Who You Are:

  • 1+ years of experience (or recent graduate).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of breaking down complex concepts.
  • Comfortable interviewing SMEs and conducting research.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools and Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Eager to learn and grow in a dynamic technology environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
