Responsibilities


  • Installation of low?voltage communication cabling systems copper, fiber optics, coaxial cables, and AV cabling within new commercial construction and occupied office space.
  • Build?out of telecommunication closets to include equipment racks, cabinets, ladder racking systems, patch panels, and AV equipment & devices.
  • Testing, labeling, and certification of new cable installations and AV equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience installing low?voltage communication cabling systems in commercial and government facilities.
  • Proficient in installing, terminating and testing copper and fiber cables.
  • Professional, team?oriented work ethic; willingness to learn.
  • Adherence to regular attendance and normal schedule hours; willing to work overtime, often on short notice.
  • Familiarity and ability to work with various hand tools.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Valid drivers license & reliable transportation to travel between client job sites in and around the D.C. Metro area.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre?employment screening process that includes a background investigation, drug screen, and acceptable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Due to client requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.


Schedule
  • Monday to Friday (start times as early as 4 a.m.)
  • Flexible schedule based on business need.
  • Overtime based on business need.
  • Weekends based on business need.


License / Certification
  • Valid drivers license (required) & reliable transportation.



Work Location

Traveling in and around the Baltimore & DC Metro area.
