Job Description
Position: Certified Surgical Technician (CST)/ (OR)
Position Information:
working in the OR, assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth flow or procedures, will be assisting and passing in cases, assisting in turning over OR rooms etc to keep the surgical cases flowing
Shift 3- 12 hour shifts, 1030-2300
Call requirements: 1 call shift during the week, typically either 11p-7a if evenings or 5p-7a if days, also one weekend every 8-9 weeks 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Must have 2 years of experience.
Required skills: must have recent experience in spinal neuro surgery, da Vinci robotics experiences, and ortho trauma experience
Cranial neuro surgery experience preferred
Dept scrub color: hospital issued scrubs
EMR: Cerner
Scanning: 1.5T Siemens Sola, 3T Toshiba/Cannon, 1.25 open Fuji/Hitatchi
