Tell us about the unit(s):

·         Number of Beds – 30 Beds with the potential to increase to 36

·         Number of Staff – 45 employees

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift – 1 Clinical coordinator/ 5 RN’s / 2 techs / 1 unit secretary

o    Night Shift – 5 RN’s / 2 techs

·         Patient Ratios – 1:5/ 1:6

·         Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps/ Medfusion pumps/ SCD’s

·         EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs)

Must have :  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·         BLS

·         Great communication skills

Preferred or nice to have :  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·          PALS certification/ able to take care of a pediatric patient

·          Familiar with post- op orthopedic care

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

·          Post-Op orthopedic/ post-op spine surgical patientsà Post op care

·          Podiatry patients
