Job Details:

• Work nights or day/night rotation schedule
\n• 36 hours per week guaranteed
\n• No straight day shifts available
\n• On-call responsibilities required
\n• Must have experience with arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural drains, and lumbar drains
\n• Hemodynamic monitoring experience required
\n• Invasive blood pressure monitoring through arterial lines
\n• Bi-PAP/C-PAP experience needed
\n• Care for trach C-PAP patients on ventilators
\n• Administer low dose pressors, vasoactive medications, and inotropes
\n• Handle mannitol and 3% saline administration
\n• Manage tracheostomy care
\n• Complex wound care experience required
\n• Work with various lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
\n• Care for patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injuries
\n• Support surgical patients including tumor resections, spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer cases
\n• Assist with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus trials with lumbar drains

This healthcare facility operates a 10-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in complex neurological and neurosurgical care. The facility serves as a Primary Stroke Center and provides advanced care for patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and various neuromuscular disorders. The unit offers comprehensive post-surgical care for patients undergoing brain and spine tumor resections, spinal surgeries, and head and neck cancer procedures, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and specialized treatments.
