Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in Lubbock, Texas.

Travel Pharmacist – 7 On / 7 Off Nights

 

📍 Children’s Hospital (Level II Pediatric Trauma Center)
🛏️ 181 beds
🕒 Shift: Nights | 10–11 hr shifts | 22:00 – 08:00
📅 Assignment Length: 26 weeks (must extend into January 2026)

 

📌 Schedule:

• 7 on / 7 off block
• Long week (Wed–Sat): 10 hr shifts
• Short week (Sun–Tue): 11 hr shifts
• Every other weekend required
• 30 min unpaid lunch

  Requirements

✅ Experience: At least 1 year inpatient/acute care pharmacy (first-time travelers accepted)
✅ Certifications/Licenses:

• PharmD or RPh
• BLS
• BCPS preferred
• IV, compounding, chemo/hazardous drug handling
• Active state pharmacist license (compact accepted, must be in hand at submission)
  ✅ Skills: Pediatric dosing, anticoagulants, chemotherapy, TPN, warfarin dosing, infectious disease, sterile technique, Pyxis/EPIC

  Compliance / Rules

• Holiday Coverage: Must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
• Modules: ~16 hrs, non-billable, pre-start
• RTO: Max 7 days (all must be declared at submittal, no changes later)
• Locals: Accepted within 50 miles at lower local rate
• Floating: May be asked to float to sister facilities nearby
• Return Staff Policy: Eligible to return after 3 months
• References: 2 supervisory references required
