About this role: Key Responsibilities We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Shipping Manager to join our team. As a Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing our shipping and distribution strategy. Your main duty will be to ensure secure, accurate, timely and productive shipping processes. Lead the end-to-end shipping and warehouse operations, ensuring seamless processes across receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and outbound shipping within a 12,000-square-foot facility Partner with internal team to support client-specific project logistics and operations including project timelines, inventory, fulfillment, distribution, and shipping details. Maintain warehouse efficiency by organizing procedures, handling correspondence, managing filing systems, overseeing supplies and equipment and maintaining appearance of common areas Strategize with production team to identify opportunities for continuous improvements to the current post-sales process Use shipping software to organize and prioritize shipping activities Partner with Shipping Companies (FedEx, UPS, USPS etc) on optimizing costs and providing reports and updates to customers and internal teams Set shipping KPIs and prepare and present KPI reports including costs, revenue, productivity, etc. Supervise and oversee shipping team members and execute all shipping activities including receiving, tracking inventory and kitting Manage shipping email inbox including responding to customer requests using problem solving with a focus on customer experience. Oversee and maintain warehouse equipment for uninterrupted function, identify and fulfill supplies needs, maintain and manage vendors, and coordinate deliveries as needed Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders (such as warehouse workers, sales team, production team, finance, etc.) Requirements and Qualifications 3–5 years of experience as a Shipping Manager, Warehouse Manager, or similar role Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a facility of 10,000 square feet or larger Knowledge of logistics operations, warehouse management practices, and shipping procedures and documentation Hands-on experience with shipping and warehouse management software Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 3+ years of logistics experience in a wholesale distribution or retail supply chain environment 3+ years of experience in a project management or leadership position Working knowledge of workplace safety requirements and warehouse layout optimization About Us We believe in swag with style and sustainability .
