Web Developer

Summary:

The Web Developer is responsible for assisting in the implementation of applications and the support of production systems as assigned. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : (Other duties may be assigned)

• Performs the programming, testing, conversions and implementation planning.


• Provides full support of all production systems assigned.


• Ability to create system and programming technical specifications.


• Completes feasibility studies.


• Codes and tests for conversions and implementation projects.


• Contribute to discussions that define our architecture and technical strategy


• Participate in and create materials for code reviews.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years PHP / JavaScript web development experience or equivalent.


• Strong database fundamentals and experience


• Confidence and agility debugging urgent production issues


• Technical specification creation


• Extensive test plan creation and execution experience.


• A desire to be personally responsible for production-level code

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS


• Experience with responsive front-end frameworks/methodologies


• A preoccupation with staying on top of industry trends and technologies


• Experience acting as technical lead on large features/projects


• Experience with or willingness to learn Laravel


• Experience with REST and APIs


• Experience with Node.JS


• Experience with GIT

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
