We are seeking a Clean-up Crew to join our team! .

Job description

We are a Bus company that is now hiring cleaners. We have at least 2 positions available for part-time. Most cleaning times are at night because that's when the motorcoaches come back from their trips. We do have some day shifts to add extra hours. These shifts are usually helping clean up the yard and property. Hours may vary each day, depending on the number of buses and dispatch schedule. Weekend work is required. Starting pay is $15 an hour. Pay may go up after 30-60 days of training and evaluation. Must have reliable transportation.

Job duties include washing bus exteriors, restocking supplies, removing all trash from the bus, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, cleaning armrests, cleaning seats, cleaning restroom walls and toilets, dumping toilets and putting chemicals in toilets, cleaning out baggage compartments, and other detail cleaning oriented work throughout the bus. General building/ property maintenance/ janitorial duties, including cleaning the office, restroom, locker room, yard, and other work areas. Applicants must work efficiently to be certain vehicles are ready to leave the garage on time to pick up our customers!

Successful candidates will:

• Be comfortable working late evening, including on weekends. (Weekends are typically the busiest.) Although there are some day shifts, the vast majority are at night into the early hours of the morning.
• Have stellar attendance. Positive attitude. Self-Motivated.
• Looking for serious candidates only. Janitorial experience is a big plus but is not necessarily needed. We will train the right people who have a great attitude, a great work ethic, and simply like to clean!
• History of detailing, waxing, polishing, washing, etc. will be taken into account. List any and all of this experience on your resume or in the notes on your application. Please be honest about your experience when being hired.

In the future, there is likely going to be an assistant managerial role with increased responsibilities and pay.

Job Types: Part-time

Potential Full-time for those that have both open availability and can take on additional responsibilities. However, everyone that starts will be "part-time".

Pay: Starting usually at $15 per hour - Those with extensive detailing experience may start at a slightly higher wage rate. Individuals that learn to move the motorcoaches (on property) will receive a $.50 hourly increase, automatically after they are completely proficient in doing so.

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields is a plus, but not required
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to work unsupervised
• Takes pride in what they do
• Reliable
• Able to work as a team or by yourself
• Hard-working - we know this sounds cliche but we are looking for people who like staying busy and making money

It should be mentioned that if promoted to full-time based on your work ethic, skills, abilities, etc, you would be eligible for other benefits, including PTO, medical, dental, and vision insurance.
