Job Description

Overview Keenan has an exciting career opportunity for an Eligibility & FSA Coordinator. The Eligibility & FSA Coordinator will assist clients and members with eligibility reporting, billing, financial transactions, Over Age Dependent tracking, HIPAA certificates, and FSA/DCA/ICHRA administration. Keenan, an Accretive company, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities, and California school districts. What You'll Do FSA/DCA/ICRA Employee Education: Assist employees in understanding contribution limits, eligible expenses, and other pertinent details. Compliance and Regulation: Stay informed about changes in tax laws, healthcare regulations, and other relevant legislation impacting Flexible Spending Accounts. Implement and maintain FSA administration practices in compliance with regulatory requirements. Claims Processing: Manage FSA claims, verify expenses, and ensure prompt reimbursement. Implement processes to minimize errors and ensure compliance. Customer Service: Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries related to FSAs. Provide exceptional service by resolving issues and guiding on FSA matters. Recordkeeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contributions, claims, and reimbursements. Generate reports for internal and compliance purposes. Collaboration with Benefits Administration: Work with HR to integrate FSA management with other benefits and communicate options to employees. Technology Utilization: Use FSA software to streamline tasks and stay updated on technological advancements.

ELIGIBILITY

Administer manual eligibility changes within service level agreements. Process electronic eligibility reports. Follow up on eligibility questions from approvers and clients. Review error reports and process adds, changes, and terminations accordingly. Review web enrollments and import data into claims systems. Manage Over Aged Dependent reports and correspondence. Train new staff, ensure quality, and resolve discrepancies. Provide customer service on eligibility matters. Research and resolve eligibility discrepancies and reports. BILLING Research and resolve billing adjustments. Validate final bills and provide documentation. Deliver invoices and create check requests. Follow up on payments and disputes. What You'll Need 2-3 years of benefits or insurance experience. Understanding of flexible spending and dependent care accounts preferred. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
