Are you passionate about keeping people safe and making workplaces better for everyone? We're looking for a safety superhero to lead the charge at our dynamic Brownsville facility. As our EHS expert, you'll play a vital role in making sure every employee goes home safe, every single day.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and leading safety programs that meet or exceed local, state, and federal regulations.
• Using data and insight (and your sharp eye) to spot trends and solve safety challenges.
• Running routine safety inspections like a pro! nothing gets past you!
• Keeping management in the loop on all relevant EHS rules and requirements.
• Managing records like a champ to stay OSHA-compliant.
• Leading the development and implementation of our SWPPP.
• Educating and empowering employees on health and safety best practices.
• Managing workers' comp processes with care and precision.
• Creating fun, engaging, and informative safety training modules.
• Taking on additional projects as assigned

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (you're a seasoned safety guru)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills (you're the go-to person).
• Sharp attention to detail
• You catch the little things that matter.
• Thrive under pressure and meet deadlines with confidence.
• Experience working in a manufacturing
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• A solid, dependable work ethic, honesty, respect, and integrity are your trademarks.
