Summary:

General Dynamics- Ordnance and Tactical Systems is recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician position for the Marion, IL location.

Responsibilities-

\n
• Employee will conduct maintenance electronics work in a production facility.
\n
• Troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic and pneumatically controlled systems.
\n
• Candidate will need to be able to work any shift assigned.
\n

Qualifications-

Required Qualifications:

\n
• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent combination of experience
\n
• Five years experience in Industrial Electrical maintenance work and pass a written test covering specific and general requirements.
\n

\n
Preferred Qualifications:

• Any HVAC experience is a plus

\n
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

\n
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervision and fellow employees
\n
• Must have the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety signs and instructions
\n
• Must be able to perform basic math
\n
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
\n
• Pre-employment background and medical screening will be required if selected for hire.
\n
• Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required
\n

Pay Range (USD)

$36.75/hour
