Certified Nurse Midwife / Midwifery / Outpatient

Among the many services offered we excel in Advanced Gynecologic Laparoscopic Surgery (eg. Extensive Resection of Endometriosis off of colon, and Bilateral Ureterolysis to completely rid of endometriosis.) We are one of very few gynecological surgeons capable to perform such procedures in the entire NY metropolitan area. We are also fully trained to operate the Robot in order to offer a full range of services in minimally invasive surgery for women in all stages of their lives. We are also known for our success in complicated obstetrical & gynecological surgeries. For instance, many women having the diagnosis of multiple cesarean sections or placenta previa/acreta/percreta are told by their obstetricians to seek their care elsewhere. Taking care of a woman with her 10th cesarean or a very complicated placenta acreta/percreta is a common practice for him.

Certified Nurse Midwife / Midwifery / Outpatient

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and specialty health care for women, including conducting physical exams and diagnosing, treating, and managing medical conditions through perimenopause and menopause;
• Counsel and educate patients;
• Monitor the health of the mother-to-be and her unborn baby;
• Provide education, counseling, and prenatal care individualized to each woman

Certified Nurse Midwife / Midwifery / Outpatient

Requirements

• Master of Science degree in Nursing or DNP required.
• Successful completion and graduation from an accredited school of Nurse-Midwifery preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• Current national certification as a Nurse Midwife preferred.
• Professional nursing experience in a clinic setting required, with previous experience in women's health, gynecology, obstetrics or nurse midwifery preferred.
• C-Section/First Assist in surgery experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
