Program: *Early Start* (Birth to 3 Years Old) & *In-Home Program* (Children Over 3 Years Old)

_*Mentoring and Training:*_
Amigo Baby offers a comprehensive three-week paid training program, pairing you with experienced trainers. After training, you'll be assigned a mentor for ongoing support with any technical or administrative concerns, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident in your role.

We also encourage therapists to participate in monthly Reflective Supervision meetings, where they can discuss challenges and develop effective strategies for working with families in their homes. _*How You Shine From Others:*_
* An active Occupational Therapy license in the state of California
* Current CPR certification
* Current TB test
* Current Physical: Must be physically unrestricted for job requirements
* Desire to work with patients in a home setting
* Commitment to excellence in your work
* 2-5 years of experience in providing in-home services for children over three.
* Bilingual experience is also highly valued!
* Supervision of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant-COTA

_*How You'll Succeed Here:*_
* Providing developmental assessments and treatments in a play-based approach for a caseload of children ages three and over in the home environment.
* Providing parent education and home programs related to treatment goals as a result of developmental milestones
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team inclusive of Child Development Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Service Coordinators, Physicians and family
* Completing biannual progress reports utilizing standardized developmental assessment tools to record delays in the developmental milestones and setting goals to reach milestone outcomes
* Support and facilitate each child's progress through developmental milestones, increase opportunities for inclusion and enhance trusted caregiver-child relationships
* Utilize effective and professional communication skills
* Submit documentation and signatures on a semi-monthly basis
* Other related duties as assigned
* Participate in Monthly Reflective Supervision
