Powder Coat Hanger

Position – Parts Hanging

Job Location – Sheboygan, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (2:00pm – 10:00pm)

Starting Pay – $16.00 per hour starting

Benefits – Full benefits when hired on

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 6 months of Solid Work History (Manufacturing)

Position is responsible for supporting the converyor powder coating system by hanging, offloading, labeling, inspecting and packaging a wide range of metal products to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Clean powder coating lines and booths, related equipment, and work areas.
• Hang and remove parts from coating line conveyors.
• Perform visual inspections, identify defects.
• Label and package product.
• Accurately scanning of shop floor paperwork.
• Active involvement in continuous improvement activities and initiatives.
• Participate in required company training programs.
• Perform to the requirements detailed in the applicable ISO/TS/IATF procedures pertaining to Manufacturing and Quality.
• Produce product that conforms 100% to customer requirements.
• Operate and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Comply with company handbooks and policies.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer at least 6 months of previous manufacturing experience.
• Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Have the ability to work 8+ hour shift standing, bending and reaching throughout the duration of your shift
• Must have attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on parts
• Consistently works in a noisy and hot environment
• Occasionally move equipment and parts requiring 50lbs of force
