Grade Levels: K–8th Grade

Caseload Information: This is a part-time position (four days per week), supporting fewer than 40 students. Of those, eight are consult-only cases.

We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to provide onsite therapy four days per week to students in grades K–8 in Chicago, Illinois. In this part-time role, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ emotional, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Responsibilities

• Provide part-time school social work services to students grades K-8th, four days per week, 8:30AM-3:30PM.
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address social-emotional developmental and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support young students’ social-emotional and behavioral skills across both classroom and individual settings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
• Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Range: $46.00-$55.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Employees who work fewer than 30 hours per week are considered part-time and are eligible for AnthroMed’s 401(k) retirement plan. This comes with a 100% employer match up to first 3% employee contribution.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and dedicated to supporting the social-emotional, behavioral, and educational needs of students.
