Job Description

Soliant is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team for the 20252026 school year. These full-time positions are focused on providing support in a resource classroom setting for students with mild to moderate learning needs. Both roles require a strong commitment to inclusive education, collaboration, and student success.

Available Positions:

Position 1: Grades 79

• Caseload: Approximately 25 students

• Primarily a resource room setting

• Pullout services may be provided based on individual student needs

Position 2: Grades 1012

• Caseload: Approximately 25 students

• Primarily a resource room setting

• Pullout services may be provided based on individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide small-group and individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals

• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure access to the general curriculum

• Track and report student progress regularly

• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations

• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and service providers

• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Valid OklahomaMild to Moderate Special Education Teaching Certification

• Provisional certifications will be accepted if the candidate is willing to complete a pre-service boot camp prior to the start date

• Experience in resource settings or working with diverse learners preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Commitment to professional growth and collaboration

Schedule and Location:

• This position requires a commitment of 35-40 hours per week

• Employment is for the duration of the school year, following the academic calendar

• Work will be based on-sitein Beggs, OK
