By Eniolá Abdulroqeeb Arówólò

Beef kebabs are a flavorful and satisfying dish that combines tender chunks of beef with a medley of colorful vegetables, all grilled to perfection.

Whether you’re hosting a barbecue or simply craving a delicious meal, beef kebabs are a great choice.

This step-by-step guide will walk you through how to make mouthwatering beef kebabs that will impress your family and friends.

Ingredients:

– Beef sirloin or tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

-Red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

– Green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

– Red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

-Cherry tomatoes

– Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes (to prevent burning)

– Olive oil, for brushing

– Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

– Marinade (optional): You can use a store-bought marinade of your choice or make a simple one with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and your favorite herbs and spices.

Preparation:

  1. Marinate the Beef (Optional):

-In a bowl, combine the beef cubes with your choice of marinade. Ensure the beef is evenly coated.

-Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. This step is optional but enhances the flavor.

  1. Prepare the Vegetables:

– While the beef is marinating, wash and cut the bell peppers, red onion, and cherry tomatoes into 1-inch pieces.

  1. Skewer the Ingredients:

 – Thread the marinated beef, bell peppers, onion, and cherry tomatoes alternately onto the soaked wooden skewers.

  – Ensure an even distribution of vegetables between the beef pieces.

  1. Preheat the Grill:

– Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using charcoal, wait until the coals are ashed over.

  1. Grill the Kebabs:

– Brush the kebabs with a bit of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

– Place the kebabs on the grill, cooking for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally. Cook until the beef reaches your desired level of doneness and the vegetables are charred and tender.

  1. Serve:

– Once the kebabs are cooked to your liking, remove them from the grill.

– Let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

  1. Enjoy:

– Serve your delicious beef kebabs hot, accompanied by your favorite sides, such as rice, pita bread, or a fresh salad.

Now you’re ready to savor the delightful flavors of homemade beef kebabs.

Enjoy your meal!
