The Kaduna South Senator, Sunday Katung, met with the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, to discuss partnerships in information technology, agriculture, and education within his senatorial district.
At the meeting held in Abuja, on Thursday, Ambassador Freeman emphasised Israel’s interest in deepening its partnership with Nigeria.
He identified plans for collaboration in technology and agriculture, specifically targeting initiatives that would benefit his senatorial district.
He further welcomed the initiatives, acknowledging the positive impact they could have on both education and agricultural productivity in the region.
Their meeting explored ways to share agricultural knowledge and improve education on sustainable farming practices in the Kaduna South Senatorial District.
The meeting concluded with both parties expressing optimism about the future of Nigeria-Israel relations and the positive impacts of their collaboration on the citizens of Kaduna State.
