The National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) has empowered 80 women and youth in Oba-Oke, Olorunda LGA of Osun State through its Renewed Hope Women and Youth Empowerment Programme.
At the event, where the Executive Secretary/CEO of NALDA was represented, each beneficiary received two poultry cages, twenty 3-week-old birds, and four bags of poultry feed. The initiative is designed as a revolving poultry scheme, where matured birds will be bought by off-takers, with profits reinvested to support more participants.
The program is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda aimed at creating sustainable economic opportunities through agriculture.
