Nasarawa Govt Reiterates Commitment to Potable Water Supply for Residents

The state Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, Mohammed Muluku, has said that Nasarawa State Government is committed to the provision of potable water to the people of the state.

The commissioner stated this on Tuesday while hosting different groups in his residence in Nasarawa Eggon LGA.

He said that Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration has prioritised provision of water and would continue to provide water to the people of the state.

He stated, “He who provides water provides life as human beings cannot sustain their lives without water. His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration is committed to the provision of water across the state.’’

Mr Muluku called on the people of Nasarawa Eggon and the state at large to continue to give their maximum support to Mr Sule’s administration to succeed.

He said, “This is to enable you and other citizens to enjoy more dividends of democracy. His Excellency and other leaders need our support to succeed.’’

He urged them to continue to live in unity, be law-abiding and respect constituted authorities for the overall development of the state.

The commissioner pledged his readiness to continue to provide inclusive leadership in the state.

Earlier, the district head of Alogani ward, Sabo Akpe; the spokesperson of Bakyano community, Abubakar Suleiman; among other groups, said that their visit was to assure the commissioner of their support.

The different groups also assured the commissioner of their readiness to continue to support Mr Sule to succeed.
