This is a field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division, providing innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. The Senior Clinical Specialist, Endovascular, based in New York City, is responsible for case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through throughout the designated territory and region as needed. The role involves promoting Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers in hospital settings, with a heavy focus on Vessel Closure. Responsibilities include serving as the technical procedure and product expert during case coverage, meeting with customers to identify clinical needs and demonstrate products, developing relationships with hospital personnel, providing clinical support and education, attending clinical procedures in various labs and operating rooms, responding to customer needs and complaints, and supporting the broader region as needed. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years of related experience, and ability to travel 50% within the assigned region. Preferred qualifications include patient interaction experience in lab/operating room environments and relevant technical certification.
