The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, has donated agricultural equipment and inputs worth millions to Katsina State Government.
The Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari disclosed this through his X handle, where he stated that the donation is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emphasis on ensuring food security in Nigeria.
The donation includes:
– Water Pumping Machines: 4,000 pieces
– Knapsack Sprayers: 4,000 units
– Insecticide Chemicals: 4,000 liters
– Selective Herbicides: 4,000 liters
– Non-Selective Herbicides: 4,000 liters
– Organic Fertilizer: 4,000 liters
– Hermetic Storage Bags: 4,000 pieces
This support, Senator Abubakar Kyari said, is a testament to the Federal Government’s commitment to empowering farmers and enhancing agricultural productivity across Nigeria.
The donation is also in alignment with the impactful initiative launched by the Executive Governor of Katsina State, His Excellency Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, which aims to support farmers in the state.
