Kebbi Govt Donates N50m to Flood Victims 

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, has sympathised with the families of three people who lost their lives to floods in Dakingari, Suru Local Council of the state.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ahmed Idris, stated that the governor donated N40 million to the flood victims and directed that each affected family be given N500,000.

Condoling the families at Dakingari yesterday, the governor advised members of the affected families as well as the local council to accept the will of God in good faith.

He also sympathised with others who sustained injuries and those whose houses were affected.

 Governor Idris directed the council chairman to set up a committee to honestly distribute the money to the victims and promised to find a lasting solution to the flood.

 Also, the governor stopped over at Rijiya Maikabbi village in Dandi Local Council to sympathise with flood victims and donate N10 million.
