by AgroNigeria

The Oyo State Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment, and Cooperatives is teaming up with the Odu’a Cooperative Conglomerate Limited to tackle challenges in exporting locally produced foods.

This collaboration aims to unlock the food value chain for effective transformation and promote agricultural development, food processing, and economic growth in the region.

According to Commissioner Adeniyi Adebisi, “The Oyo State government is committed to promoting agricultural development, food processing, and economic growth in the region. We believe that the Odu’a Cooperative Conglomerate Limited has the potential to play a significant role in achieving this goal”.

The partnership will focus on addressing irregularities in food exportation, improving product quality, and meeting international standards.

The Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olajide Okesade, emphasized the need for quality assurance and export destination standards to ease the exportation process.
