The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has announced the death of its former National President, Arch. Kabiru Ibrahim.

The announcement was made by the current National President of AFAN, Farouk Rabi’u Mudi, who described the death as a profound loss to the association and the wider farming community.

Until his death, Ibrahim was an architect and farmer, and was recognised for his contributions to Nigeria’s agricultural sector and the farming community.

In a condolence message issued on behalf of the National Executive Council, state chapters, affiliated farmer organisations and farmers across the country, Mudi expressed sympathy with the deceased’s family, relatives, colleagues and associates.

“On behalf of the National Executive Council, State Chapters, affiliated farmer organisations, and the entire farming community, I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of Arch. Kabiru Ibrahim, his relatives, colleagues and associates,” Mudi said.

The AFAN president prayed that Almighty Allah forgive Ibrahim’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

He also prayed for strength and fortitude for the deceased’s family, friends and members of the farming community to bear what he described as an irreparable loss.

“May Allah grant him eternal rest and admit him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen,” Mudi added.
