Agricultural Revolution: SAHE Foundation, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools Partner to Launch Tech Young Farmers’ Club

SAHE Foundation, in collaboration with National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS),  is set to launch the Tech Young Farmers’ Club, an initiative that aims to teach hands-on agricultural education across secondary schools in Lagos state.

Spearheaded by the SAHE Foundation, this initiative seeks to bridge the gap between traditional farming methods and modern agricultural practices.

By providing students with hands-on learning experiences and exposure to innovative agricultural technologies, the Tech Young Farmers’ Club intends to change perceptions about agriculture as a career path and empower youth to become future leaders in sustainable agriculture.

With over 1000 participants from secondary schools expected to participate, the event will feature roundtable discussions, workshops, and panel discussions. The launch of the Tech Young Farmers’ Club as build-up to the 2024 Children’s Day celebration promises to be a catalyst for change.

By fostering partnerships, advocating for supportive policies, and mobilizing financial resources, the initiative aims to strengthen the agricultural sector and promote food security and environmental stewardship.

The Tech Young Farmers’ Club represents a commitment to empowering young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to thrive in the agricultural industry.
