In a pre-event press briefing of the FNS Deal Room Clinic workshop, Mr. Richard-Mark Mbaram, Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Feed Nigeria Summit Secretariat (FNS), hinted about groundbreaking innovative initiatives being put in place as part of the preparations for the upcoming FNS event.

The DG noted that the FNS Deal Room Clinic is a significant effort to lock-in the levers of transformation that targets the entire Nigerian agricultural landscape.

“The Dealroom platform, forged through strategic partnerships with key entities, including the African Development Bank, PULA Advisors, Access Bank, the United States Agency for International Development , AgriFrontier Ltd, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (FMAFS) and others, offers a dynamic environment for stakeholders and agribusinesses to access critical funding opportunities.

According to Mbaram, the fact of having the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Agri Frontier as technical partners is a major statement about the commitment of the FNS DealRoom Framework to the mission of propelling agricultural development in Nigeria to greater heights.

Speaking further, Mbaram noted that the FNS DealRoom Clinic will provide an invaluable platform for feedback, user experience based dialogue, learning, and collaboration between investors and agribusinesses alike.

To quote Mbaram further; “the Clinic will afford us the opportunity to formally launch the Virtual DealRoom Platform which, in every sense, is revolutionary in that it makes the FNS DealRoom a real-time (all year round), value laden resource generator, for Nigeria’s agricultural sector”.
