The Governor of Kano State,Abba Kabir Yusuf has expressed commitment to support the Audu Bako College of Agriculture Dambatta.
The college community received the Governor on Thursday, September 19,where he interacted with lecturers, students and the community to evaluate the demands of the learning environment.
The Governor reaffirmed his strong commitment to improve the institution’s infrastructure, adding that maintaining facilities properly is essential to creating a positive learning environment.
Yusuf pleaded to start remodeling important campus spaces in a short while.The proposed facilities for renovation include; student hostels, lecture theaters, laboratories, and other essential structures.
Furthermore, the Governor stressed the value of cooperation between the government and academic institutions, ‘spending money on education is investing in the future,’ he added
However, the ABCOAD Community, led by the Provost, Prof. M. A. Wailare expressed sincere gratitude to the Governor for his visionary leadership.
“In addition to demonstrating your dedication to education, this visit served as a reminder of the shared accountability for creating a vibrant learning environment.”
