National President of the Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN), Khalil Mohammed Bello, has stressed the need for dialogue in addressing the ongoing farmer-herder conflicts in Nigeria.

Speaking at the National Conference on Farmer-Herder Conflict, held at the Yar’Adua Center in Abuja and organized by LJE Nigeria, Bello emphasized that such discussions are crucial for finding long-term solutions to the crisis.

In his keynote address, Bello acknowledged the severe impact of the conflict, which has caused significant hardship for many Nigerians and has impeded the nation’s development.

He pointed out that resolving the issue requires a thoughtful approach, as it involves multiple factors that must be addressed in a balanced way.

The KACRAN President called on all relevant parties, including farmers, herders, and government representatives, to engage in meaningful conversations and collaborate on solutions that will bring lasting peace.

He stressed that understanding one another’s challenges is key to moving forward, as only through collective effort can the problem be properly addressed.
