“Furthermore,” Adeyemo added, “bees offer economic benefits. Setting up bee hives around farms can increase both crop yield and quality at harvest.”

Modern beekeepers increasingly utilise hive monitoring systems equipped with sensors to track parameters like temperature, humidity, and hive weight. These systems provide real-time data, enabling remote monitoring of colony health and productivity. Early detection of anomalies allows beekeepers to intervene promptly, preventing colony losses and optimising honey production.
